ABOUT THE PROJECT
The multimedia project About how it’s better to be a cat in Dubrovnik is a collaboration between three artists and their different artforms. In a certain way it is a continuation of their last year’s work Between us, but with a changed focus. While in the fomer project they worked with questions of motherhood, this time they are focusing on the city they all have a special relationship with. By intertwining the topic of motherhood, working alongside kids and with kids (the topic of their artistic research), and the relationship with the space of creating art and performing, the authors, each one with her own artform, create a multimedia collage through which they enter into a dialogue with the city that burdens and inspires them simultaneously.
Premiere: 28. December 2018. 20:00, Art Workshop Lazareti, Dubrovnik
The project was realized with the support of the City of Dubrovnik and in cooperation with Art Workshop Lazareti in Dubrovnik and the Meditarranean Dance Center/residential program 2018 in Svetvinčenat.
